Power of Pokemon

Pokemon is the second most successful video game-based franchise in the world, behind only the Mario series. I first got into the Pokemon craze back when it first started while I was in middle school. I remember playing the card game during lunch, and trading the cards between classes. I was so excited when I got the first Pokemon games for the original GameBoy (the Red/Blue games) and that continued onto the Yellow version, Gold/Silver version, etc, etc. I have been out of the “Pokemon loop” for the last five years or so, and it has only grown in popularity as the years have passed. I recall there only being 150 different Pokemon, but now there are almost 500 of them!

Here is some fantastic fan-art of this great series that has captured the hearts of millions of children and adults around the world.
